One Track Mind

Approaching this weekend I had numerous good intentions about completing great amounts of studying. Of course, none of these plans were realized. However, I had one of the most enjoyable weekends of the year. I lounged and indulged myself in others' company. The whole time I had lingering thoughts of "I should be getting (this, that, and the other thing) done". I have been reflecting upon my frequent distraction and realize:

"Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life."
-Thich Nhat Han

So during this last week of classes I am focusing on focusing; on one-mindedness--meditation. I wish you all clear minds, peaceful thoughts, and blessings in this week ahead!

Namaste.
